On 10 and 11 March 2017 in Nea Smyrni and Piraeus, was held the third and final two-day educational action «IncludU» on the promotion of European values among young people for an open and democratic Europe. The action was organized by the Jean Monnet Chair in European Policies for Education, Training, Research and Innovation of the University of Piraeus, International and European Studies Department in collaboration with the Department of Educational Broadcasting of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs under the European Erasmus+ - Jean Monnet «Include European Union Values» (2016-2018) program. At the heart of the program are lying the fundamental values of the European Union, such as the respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, human rights and equality for all people in Europe.
With dynamic participation and promises for the future, was completed on February 22, in Lesbos, the two-day educational action "IncludU" on the promotion of European values among young people for an open and democratic Europe, organized by the Jean Monnet Chair in European Policies for Education, Training, Research and Innovation, of the University of Piraeus in collaboration with the department of Educational Broadcasting of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs, the Jean Monnet Chair of the Aegean University and the Experimental Lyceum of the Aegean University.
With dynamic participation and promises for the future, was completed on 2 and 3 February in Thessaloniki, the two-day educational action "IncludU" on the promotion of European values among young people for an open and democratic Europe, organized by the Jean Monnet Chair in European Policies for Education, Training, Research and Innovation, of the University of Piraeus in collaboration with the department of Educational Broadcasting of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs, the Jean Monnet Chair of University of Aegean, the Europe Direct Information Centre of the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Experimental School of Thessaloniki.
The kick off meeting of the of the Εuropean Jean Monnet project “Include European Union Values – IncludU” took place on the 10th of October at the University of Piraeus. The Jean Monnet project is being implemented by the Laboratory of Education Policy, Research, Development and Interuniversity Cooperation (ERDIC) of the department of International and European Studies of the University on Piraeus. The academic coordinator of the project is Dr. Foteini Asderaki, Assistant Professor at the department of International and European Studies and Jean Monnet Chair ““European Union’s Education, Training, Research and Innovation Policies”.
